Founded in 1993, Vassvøri Sogelag works with generating interest for the local history of the hamlets in Bolstad, Evanger and Teigdalen. Vassvøri Sogelag arranges various exhibitions in the Evanger Heradshus, the annual ”Knute Nelson Day” at Knute Nelsonstova on Kvilekval Farm, and can also arrange cultural evenings and meals in the old wine celler Tingstovekvelven in Bolstad. The Sogelag also runs the Flåtemuseet at Bolstad, and publishes the annual ”Frå fjell til fjord” booklet containing local history.
