Nestled high in the mountains, Eksingedalen Hest og Fjellgard on the farm of Øksendal specializes in horseback riding. There is also a nice hiking trail from the farm up to the Øksendal high pasture, situated idyllically beside an alpine lake. Fishing is good in this and the surrounding lakes.
