Brørvikskuto is a reconstructed clinker-built (overlapping boards technique) wooden boat from the Stamnes area. This boat type was formerly used for transporting firewood. Brørvikskuto is a floating transporter of culture: loaded with boat building traditions, fjord traffic history, and seaworthy activities such as sailing and rowing. The Brørvikskuto Foundation owns and operates the boat, while the Friends Organisation Skutefolket arranges activities and brings this special vessel to life.
